Propaganda in Mapping

Propaganda has always been used to twist public opinion as images, cartoons, and ads like flyers and posters. Maps are no different as this image of "The World According to Ronald Reagan" depicts a map that is far from accurate. This is meant to be a humorous depiction during the Cold War era, emphasizing the Us and Them, even splitting China between the two super powers at the time, the United States and the USSR.
